'Well it took some searching but I found the way to get the CT5800 sound card going on Win2K and Win NT as well as the W9x way.If you get the 'missing the full set of files' message then you're running the wrong OS for that particular install even if you have the 'right' card.There are 3 files in James zip file. All files (3 including the readme) were unzipped to the same DIR before running the EXE.I'm trying to install this for a W2K system just to check whether the CT5800 card actually works. (The card is going back to a Dell system with NT4.0 SP6a that couldn't recognise the card was in that system let alone

'Works a treat with the Ensoniq 1373 on-board sound on an MSI MS-6156 motherboard. The MSI driver causes an error with missing midi files. The drivers work but the error message every time you boot is a bloody nuisance.'

'When 98SE was installing 'SB AudioPCI Legacy Device', a file was missing. Ditto for 'Creative Gameport Joystick' (same file). In both cases, I skipped the file and the system seems to be working (haven't tried a joystick, though).'

'Model CT4810 was etched on my sound card, so I tried this driver. Since Windows had already recognized the audio device (without installing a default driver), everything installed automatically when running the .exe file. Worked perfect!'
