Dude you really saved honda hds software bacon. I've just installed Linux Mint 16 Mate, and can't seem to get the networking to work. Thanks so much Tangram, I am coming there i was able to give bcm94318jpg the broadcom bcm94318mpg linux driver commands in and it went pretty good.

'Driver worked just great you might want to mention that you have to copy and paste into a file and then go to device manager and update driver by point search to the file that you just created

'Worked Fine. For anyone unfamiliar with how to install a driver without an executable: download and extract the driver file(s), then open device manager , select device to be updated, reinstall driver and then point to the extracted folder and click OK.'

'Did NOT like the program that ran to download the file. It tried to change my homepage and search engine like 4 times during the wizard, plus right after the file downloaded, it downloaded another file with it that my MBAM picked up as a PUP.

Use at your own risk.'

Step 1 - Download Your Driver

How to Open Device Manager

  • In Windows 8.1 & Windows 10, right-click the Start menu and select Device Manager

  • In Windows 8, swipe up from the bottom, or right-click anywhere on the desktop and choose 'All Apps' -> swipe or scroll right and choose 'Control Panel' (under Windows System section) -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager

  • In Windows 7, click Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager

  • In Windows Vista, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Device Manager

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install drivers using Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
