I am sure that by now you must have understood that I have researched my way thoroughly before I posted this query on the Microsoft community!

I need to now further clarify that I have visited all the possible web sites that purport to offer some solution to the problem seen with my machine... Post the extensive research, when I am still unable to reach a solution have I approached this forum. I have reached out personally to the Dell India Tech Support and have also spoken to Microsoft India helpline person, and I am experiencing the same old situation... I am told by Microsoft that I should speak to ONLY Dell India and ask them to provide the Driver. When I spoke to Dell and requested, they directed me back to Microsoft, the software provider and as per them, this is nothing to do with their hardware!

Dell Inspiron N4030 Drivers

I recently updated my windows to 8.1, now when i try to instal drivers for my video card ATI Radeon HD 6470M from Dell Drivers and Support site, it works but with some errors, but it says my card is 7450M or 7400M series... But when i try to instal any other Catalyst Control Center and Display Drivers (13.4, 13.9, 13.11 beta), noone of then works, and when it starts it says 'Aplication Install: Install Package Error', why does it do that, and how can i fix it? (The Drivers worked fine on Windows 7 32/64 bit). And with just dell drivers, when i try to start some game with switchable graphics on High performance (ATI card)(on Steam, and Skype also(), it says that it cannot start some D3D on ATI card, but on Intel Graphics HD everything works fine (but it's too slow to play anything well). If you can help me, please do it...

I've tried everything (except reinstalling windows, since it's too much work), deleting registry, reinstaling and installing drivers, but noone of them can even start instaling, i followed every guide i could find, but nothing works.
And on Steam when i try playing Dota 2 on ATI card, it says 'Failed to create D3D Device' and that has to do with drivers probably.
